Clarissa Ronfeldt has lived in Smithland with her husband, Steve, for 50 years.
On October 18, she was traveling home from Mapleton, when she witnessed a vehicle accident.
As a retired nurse and EMT, Clarissa stopped to see if anyone needed help. The vehicle that caused the initial accident fled the scene but then another accident happened, which Clarissa was struck outside her car by another vehicle.
