Iowa County Treasurer’s E-Government Alliance Board of Directors Meeting Minutes Wednesday, February 19, 2025, 10:30 AM 5000 Westown Pkwy, 3rd Floor, West Des Moines, IA 50266 Present: Abby Riesberg, Amy Johnson, Barb Vance, Beth Gerlach, Chad Murray, Mark Myers Minutes from February 5, 2025, Board Meeting were approved with a motion by Amy, second by Beth, all ayes. Treasurer’s Report: There is an ending balance on February 18, 2025 of $1,249,455.69 which includes IPAIT account. Approved with a motion by Mark, second by Abby, all ayes.  Checks Written: 7030, PMA Asset Mgmt, LLC, 12,874.51 EFT Debits and Transfers: Catalis, Shelby Co Cr Cd Machine, 424.99 Deposits and Transfers: None Merchant Services: No update RFP: Awaiting response from possible legal counsel to review web hosting contract. Catalis: No updates from Linda. Proposed Future Web Enhancements with hope to implement by June 30, 2025: Add fields for valuation for current tax year and future tax year for scheduled pmts. - 8 estimated hours – waiting on infrmation from Solutions and Tyler software vendors. Find solution to prevent out-of-order payment. Example: previous year taxes are delinquent, but taxpayer pays current year before previous year. – 12 estimated hours – pulled enhancement back to adjust enhancement as causing issue for taxpayer when paying special assessments, 8-7-24. Add a Vendor/Partner tab on website – 20 estimated hours Automatic treasurer duties calendar reminders emailed – 40 estimated hours Enhance reporting criteria for escrow companies for specific parcels – TBD Enhance the Library/Knowledge documents to have “preview document” instead of “download” to prevent unnecessary files accumulating on the PCs download folder taking up unnecessary space. – 5 estimated hours Develop a survey link (similar to Survey Monkey) – 120 estimated hours Enhance the search criteria to include receipt number in addition to parcel number – 5 estimated hours Enhancement for customers to verify/review parcels current mailing address when an online payment is completed, similar to the MV side. – 15 estimated hours DOT Modernization: Review of historical development of ICTEA, DOT role, and Treasurer involvement. Discussion of potential negative impact on ICTEA by DOT Modernization. Mitigation efforts discussed. Upcoming Meetings: Wednesday, March 12th, 2025 at 3:00 PM – ICTEA Board Meeting Thursday, March 13th, 2025 at 3:30 PM – ICTEA Membership Meeting Other Items: Discussion on implementation of new report to notify ICTEA Board and Anita of returned payments that exceed 30 days from insufficient date. Suggestion to add the topic to the upcoming Membership Meeting to suggest automatic reimbursement opposed to check reimbursement by the counties.
