City of Mapleton Minutes - Special Council Meeting February 15, 2023 The special meeting of the city council was held on February 15, 2023 at 5:30 p.m. Roll call was taken with the following members present, Mayor Pro-Tem Abby Koenigs, Joe Hogan, Dian Bleil and Benita Uhl. Absent: Mayor Brent Streck and Angie Sass. Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Motion by Joe Hogan, second by Dian Bleil to approve the order of the agenda. Ayes: All. Motion carried. Motion by Benita Uhl, second by Joe Hogan to open the public hearing regarding setting maximum tax levy. Ayes: All. Motion carried and public hearing was opened. No comments were received. Motion by Dian Bleil, second by Benita Uhl to close the public hearing. Ayes: All. Motion carried and public hearing was closed. Motion by Joe Hogan, second by Dian Bleil to approve passage of Resolution 2023-7 setting maximum property tax dollars. Ayes: Dian Bleil, Benita Uhl, Joe Hogan, Abby Koenigs. Motion carried.
