CHARTER OAK-UTE COMMUNITY SCHOOL BOARD OF DIRECTORS REGULAR MEETING JANUARY 9, 2023 The Board of Directors of the Charter Oak-Ute School met on the above date in the Charter Oak Center with Directors Weed, Schultz, Klinker, Superintendent Eggeling and Secretary Carstens present. Director Goslar and McAndrews were absent. President Weed called the meeting to order at 4:30 p.m. It was moved by Schultz, seconded by Klinker to approve the regular meeting. Ayes all. Motion carried. It was moved by Klinker, seconded by Schultz to approve the consent items. Ayes all. Motion carried. Approval of the Minutes of the Regular Meeting on December 20, 2022 Approval of all the Fundraising Approvals Approval of all the Financial Reports Approval of all the Invoices for Payments Superintendent Eggeling discussed the HVAC and Bathroom renovations, budget workshops, enrollment, open enrollment billing, testing, ESSA, resource allocation, quote from Rasmussen, evaluations, day care and early retirement. It was moved by Schultz, seconded by Klinker to approve the contract for shared librarian position with MVAO. Ayes all. Motion carried. It was moved by Klinker, seconded by Schultz to approve the final reading of board policy 403.7 early retirement with revisions. Ayes all. Motion carried. It was moved by Schultz, seconded by Klinker to assign director McAndrews and director Goslar to the district negotiation team. Ayes all. Motion carried. The board discussed future agenda items. There being no further business it was moved by Klinker, seconded by Schultz to adjourn the meeting at 5:57 p.m. Ayes all. Motion carried.
