Charter Oak City Council Special Meeting Minutes April 22, 2024 The Charter Oak City Council met in a special meeting on Monday April 22, 2024. Mayor Peggy Staley called the meeting to order at 7:23 PM. Members present were Alec Castillo, Russ Maack, Tracy Helmhold and Nathan Mohr. Members absent were Ben Heyne. Others in attendance were Ashley Mohr, Chad Mohr and Cody Mohr. Motion Helmhold/Castillo to approve the agenda. All ayes. Motion carried. Council met with Chad and Cody Mohr from Bedrock Gravel regarding final lagoon dredging payment. Motion Maack/Helmhold to agree to pay additional $55,000 in charges beyond the original quote of $220,000. To be paid in three fiscal years. First payment in fiscal year 2023/2024 of $110,000. Second payment in fiscal year 2024/2025 of $110,000. Final payment in fiscal year 2025/2026 of $55,000. All ayes. Motion carried. Motion Castillo/Maack to approve Resolution No 04-22-2024, Approving Fiscal Year 2024/2025 Budget. Ayes: Castillo, Maack, Helmhold, Mohr. Nays: None. Absent: Heyne. Motion carried. Motion Maack/Mohr to approve Resolution No 04-22-2024B, Approving the Designation of SLFRF funds for the City of Charter Oak. Ayes: Castillo, Maack, Helmhold, Mohr. Nays: None. Absent: Heyne.
